Harrison Bristow has had yet another fabulous summer. From fun filled family days out at attractions such as Robin Hill and Carisbrooke Castle to the warm romantic summer evenings in some of the fantastic restaurants the Island has to offer. We really love the Isle of Wight and hope you will come and visit us soon. We are now taking bookings for next year, or if you would like a lovely wintery break, we have lots of houses available during this period too. Isle of Wight- The world's most haunted island

Many thousands of ghosts, spirits, poltergeists and apparitions haunt the Isle of Wight - which is acknowleged as the world's most haunted island. This incredible supernatural activity seems due in part to the powerful unseen energy or 'ley' lines running under this British island, situated only 70 miles from London, which now attracts thousands of ghost-hunters from all over the world.

Rib Ride around the needles

Rib ride

There are two types of trips offered, firstly the traditional cruise to view the Needles rocks, lighthouse, with spectacular views of the coloured sands of Alum Bay. This trip lasts around 20-25 minutes. Adults: from £6.00 Children: from £4.00. No age restrictions.

The second trip encompasses all the sights of the traditional cruise, but is aboard our fast Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) “Skye Rose” which is a 15 minute trip, taking you a little further to the south side of the lighthouse into Scratchells Bay, returning back to Alum Bay. Cost £11 per person or family ticket of 2 adults & 2 Children at £40. Minimum age restrictions do apply for this particular RIB trip.

Opening Times: 10:30.

We offer trips that makes for an interesting educational visit, not only for the Lighthouse, but unique rock formations at the lighthouse and in Alum Bay with the coloured sands, bird life, interesting views of forts. There is informative live commentary throughout. Boats are licensed for 90 people.
