A charming coastal home full of warmth and character, combining timeless period features with a relaxed, understated style. Stripped wooden floors, sleigh beds, vintage touches and an open fireplace create a house that feels both elegant and deeply comfortable — the sort of place where you instantly exhale on arrival.
Filled with natural light from the beautiful bay windows, the house blends seaside simplicity with cosy elegance. Rustic details, calm airy rooms and soft coastal textures give it a quietly luxurious feel without ever losing its welcoming charm. From slow mornings in the sunny kitchen to evenings curled up by the fire after a beach walk, this is a home made for properly unwinding by the sea.
Step through the hallway into the kitchen, leading through to the spacious living room with bay window, dining table and sea views. Comfortable sofa and chairs are gathered around the open fireplace, creating a cosy space to relax after a day by the sea, whilst the stripped floorboards and soft coastal light give the cottage an easy, welcoming charm.
A useful downstairs WC also houses the washing machine.
Upstairs, the generous master bedroom features a super king sleigh bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and wardrobe. The second bedroom offers a single sleigh bed with pull-out truckle bed, wardrobe and lovely views over the garden, making it ideal for children or additional guests.
The family bathroom includes a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, WC and wash hand basin.
Outside, the enclosed lawned garden is bordered with mature planting and offers a peaceful spot for al fresco dining, complete with outdoor table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ for long summer evenings by the coast.
For larger family gatherings, Oaks can also be booked alongside neighbouring Red House, allowing families and friends to holiday close together whilst still enjoying their own space.
